BB01 – Diamond Scaife with Spindle

• Diamond impregnated scaife is available in two types of quality.

• It comes in two grain types: MM01 and BB01.

• BB01 grain: Large grain size, suitable for polishing the largest stones. Ideal for makeables larger than 0.5 carat, especially effective for table polishing and bottom blocking.

• MM01 grain: Medium grain size, suitable for general use and for polishing small makeable (top & bottom), blocking, and larger stones.

• MM01 is referenced as DS211, and BB01 is referenced as DS212.

Applications :-

• BB01 grain: Large grain size, suitable for polishing the largest stones. Ideal for makeables larger than 0.5 carat, especially effective for table polishing and bottom blocking.

Spindle Type Scaife is Used on Mills :-

• Diameter 310 mm, flat pulley

• Diameter 310 mm, V-pulley

• Diameter 330 mm, flat pulley

• Diameter 330 mm, V-pulley

Higher Productivity Diamond Scaives :-

• Available in various widths and mesh grades: 30 – 35 – 40 mm

• Can be supplied with a cast-iron smoothing ring next to the diamond ring.
